Riona could recently be seen understudying and playing the role of Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (UK Productions Tour 2007) touring the UK, Ireland and Greece. Riona trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts graduating in 2006. While in training Riona played a variety of roles including The stepdaughter in SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR, Annabel Glick in LUCKY STIFF, Stevie in THE GOAT, and Mary Gallagher and Amelia Erhart in the European premier of FIRST LADY SUITE. She had the opportunity of representing LIPA in the Sam Wanamaker Festival 2006 at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, playing Lady Anne in RICHARD III. She worked with the National Student Theatre Company playing Nadine in THE WILD PARTY at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is delighted to be on the original cast recording of NEXT DOORS BABY and thrilled to be involved in this production. Riona would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support.
